Our 5 Favorite Nail Trends for Winter 2024

It’s Winter, and like with every season change, color and fashion trends also change. Dark, moody, vampy shades are classic Winter colors. And, although they can sometimes be intimidating, darker colors can be flattering for every nail shape and length.

1. Cabernet

Unsurprisingly, deep, wine toned reds are all the rage this Winter. Deep reds honestly never go out of style, and we see them make their way into fashion and beauty trends year after year. It adds the perfect subtle pop of color to any Winter outfit, and also looks extremely chic and elegant. Deep red is also a great shade for a French manicure. Use a wine toned color instead of the classic white to create a fun and festive French nail.

2. Black

Black is an excellent choice for a Winter nail. It’s the perfect dark neutral shade to add a chic touch to your Winter fashion choices. It’s edgy but surprisingly elegant. Many people shy away from wearing black polish because it can be a very bold and intimidating color. However, you’ll come to notice that it’s actually a very wearable color. If you’re wanting to give black nails a try, the Winter is the perfect time to do so. So, use a vampy onyx polish for a bold Winter look.

4. White

White is an extremely popular color year round, and the Winter is no exception. It’s frequently seen in places like snow, frost, and candy canes (just to name a few Winter staples). White is known to be a color that brings a little warmth back into our skin. If you’re wanting to look slightly less pale and ghostly during these colder months, then try out a classic white polish. White is also an excellent color to have on hand for some festive holiday nail art. It’s great as a base color or to use for some finer details.
